I'm in Germany again, learning about #adsorption at the French-German Adsorption Conference in Duisburg. First cool talk of the day is this one about a "sorption tumble dryer". ZeoDry is a zeolite-based industrial tumble dryer that requires 30% less energy than the state of the art.

Yesterday, I thought I'd single-handedly solved most of the problems in academic publishing, using a simple idea. I posted it on LinkedIn, but it's since gained a disappointingly small amount of traction.

Following #AIChE2025, I had one main aim today & that was to get to Chinatown in Boston & have some dim sum. Thankfully, that was successful (photographic proof attached). My only other aim is to catch my flight home & that seems to be going okay too.
I go to a range of conferences. Last week, at #EuroMOF2025 in Crete, it was metal-organic frameworks. This week it's the geochemistry of Jupiter's icy moons.
EuroMOF 2027 will be held in Lake Como, Italy. Looks like a great venue too.
