Going to Orleans for my bro-in-law’s 60th party They have rented a gite for 35 people for the weekend. There’s no air con, no pool and we’re supposed to go inside at 11pm due to noise. The heatwave is in full swing. Can i stay in Normandy?

Went to the British Normandy memorial. Quite impressive & “a bit shit” at the same time. Altogether quite British in a way There was a an installation of soldiers by a charity which was very moving. Quite a few family dedication, one from a lady who was 20months when her Dad was killed 1/2
