I did quite a lot of reading on holiday. (Not pictured, at least 300+ issues of various X-men comics). 4 wonderful Muriel Spark novels. 1 terrific biography of La Spark by @drjamesbailey.bsky.social 1 masterpiece adapted into another masterpiece of desperation actressing, THE HOURS!

Had a terrific day this week hanging out with the one and only @mattbaume.bsky.social !

Learning just now that Virginia and Leonard Woolf published the first novella that Sally Bowles appeared in and I somehow knew “that makes sense”.
And we get a (now very rare) instance of Coolidge speaking with her normal voice too:
The youtube recording is great because there's a discussion about the play in the middle with the cast, moderated by Jason Alexander.
Me last Saturday with my elegant, statuesque but still sparking daughter:
I'm currently quite in need of some substantial freelance, contract or agency work. If you or anyone you know is looking for a very experienced illustrator, designer and animator then feel free to get in touch.
Special shout out to my MOTHER, Geraldine Page, in her iconic turn as my *other* MOTHER, Alexandra Del Lago:
