Ex-RAF LTechAF. Now a RAN engineer who can be found among the valleys and mountains of East Anglia. I’m on BlueSky for friendship and to engage with others respectfully. Please don’t be offended if I block you if you are rude to others.
Here’s a comparison of my garden: the 24th July 2025 on the left and the 23rd July 2026 on the right. I never knew that the UK could have a drought.
Mine is a teriyaki broth with celery, cabbage baked butternut squash and tofu marinated in sesame oil, soy sauce and curry powder. I’ll probably need a kebab in an hour.
I’m having to watch it on my lounge ceiling. It’s too bright outside to project it out there.
We have a projector set up now and so I can watch the footy from the hammock in the garden.
@marvth3martian.bsky.social Tonight I’m going to talk about Déjà vu…
I thought I’d share the stunning sweeping vista of my hotel room in Watford.
This probably doesn’t mean a huge amount, but this was the weather station in the shade in my garden this arvie with the indoor unit in my office cabin (on which I kept all the windows closed until mid afternoon when the humidity became too much).
Pepsi is signalling that it is drinking time, which I understand to mean that she is telling me to go to the pub.
I am recklessly having a beer an hour before bedtime. My bladder will be my nemesis tonight.
Ça ne fait rien! Your efforts were quite something to see. As far as the garden goes, we’ve opted to minimise grass cutting this year and are letting the wild flower seeds do their thing.
Well done to New Zealand. Will you all now be partaking in the ritual trip to a nightclub tonight in violation of the team rules?
OK, Ozzie. Should I have another beer? Meow “Three Lions on a Shirt” for no, or a look of indifference for yes.
