A wild indigo duskywing butterfly (or skipper to be more accurate) on white Dutch clover. It is barely larger than the clover flower, about an inch and a quarter. It’s a mottled brown. The forewing has darker bands alternating with medium and lighter bands. The hindwings just the medium and lighter bands. Both sets of wings have some white spots and are fringed in white.
