Random memory from my youth was watching and becoming mildly obsessed with the series Reilly: Ace of Spies, and being really excited later to see that Reilly had gone to Jurassic Park.
Two perfect albums imo. But also two examples of the worst cover artwork in the history of civilisation.
RIP Tony Rayns, superlative scholar of southeast asian cinema (and so much more) and an expert, lucid communicator of his passions. A TR bluray extra always worth the price of the disc. Seek out his Visions series where he was doing his trademark deepdives on Asian cinema for C4 in the early 80s.
