Writing on wood — how does it feel? Answer: great! I found this note pad in @roasteryengelberg stationery section yesterday. Made by Kizara it is very thin wood shavings. Http://www.kizara.jp. Works with fountain pens (a little feathering depending on how the grain lies).

A notepad with clear age rings and slightly yellowish has sample writing from 5 pens and their inks.
