Damn Catherine O’Hara was a genuine icon to me, I loved everything she did. And in recent years her character Moira became my home style guide. Pyjamas, waistcoats, a cashmere robe I saved and saved for, and brooches… she somehow managed to channel my idea of comfy perfection…
Getting to know my new neighbourhood with these two, there’s two flag houses on the street one Toitū Te Tiriti, one rainbow, two small businesses in McMansions, 3 barmy dogs behind fences right next to the park and a butterfly landed on me. All in all not too bad.

I’ve seen pictures in mags of ppl having lunch on verandahs with amazing views and this year I got to host one. I’ve loved this year in Chch & the last 6mths in Ohinetahi. This time last yr I just wanted to go back to Wgtn and now I’ve got my wish but it’s gonna be harder to leave than I thought.
We’ve got a few more weeks down here before we move back to Wellington, I’m trying not to think abt that and just enjoy!

I made 3 little doggy shirts, my two have a 4 wolves patch on theirs, thats our gang insignia…
The work on our place is almost finished, so I gave Pātea his Christmas present today, his first shirt with a patch I made of him and his builder owner. You have to check out the vintage bunny buttons.
