Final thing to add. Remember that LBF stats are generally +3 over their equivalent 5E ability modifier so while it seems like a huge gap between the Light Armour and Heavy Armour, in reality it won’t be.

It'll be about 280 pages or thereabouts. The image above is a digital mockup using the cover art. Here's the contents page of the current draft. A lot of the page count is made up of Spells, Creatures and Magic Items. The actual rules make up a relatively small proportion.

Assuming that's art in the broadest creative sense, yes, tomorrow I'm launching the Kickstarter for Little but Fierce, my adaptation of D&D 5E for kids. The world needs storytelling and safe spaces for creative play, for children of all ages. The game is also written for my daughter.
