I had the best No Kings Day ever! I was driving to the big protest, but when passing the neighborhood retirement home noticed that a couple dozen residents were out front with signs. They treated me as a celebrity when walking up in my frog suit. Love them.

I am apparently the only iPhone user on the planet for whom the “Reduce Motion” setting fails to eliminate motion in the UI. This vignette crapola is still very irritating, and two releases later hasn’t been fixed. iPhone 16 Pro.
It was a delight to see the talented Gunhild Carling, who really was the star of the show. Not only is she a skilled multi instrumentalist, but puts a new spin on that by simultaneously playing three trumpets. Sure, it’s a gimmick, but she makes it work. And is a talented jazz musician. 2/x
