I just finished Daniel DiManna's G-Cinema. Excellent book. Delves into the history of the franchise, addresses each film and sets it place not just in the series, but also what was happening to make it that way. If you're interested in Godzilla, this is worth your time.

I like letting authors know when I enjoyed their books. @writervh.bsky.social 's DEATHWORLDER is a cracking tale. Excellent characters, well realized, and a great view of a tyranid invasion. Tense throughout, with good action scenes and a real creeping horror. Great read.
Just re-watched Benedikt Erlingsson's award-winning Woman at War (2018) and it feels more relevant than ever. It's available on a broad variety of streaming platforms, and is quite worth your time.
