Deleting posts on X and came across a lovely conv. with Brian Eversham @brianecambs.bsky.social from a few years ago on my favourite slug Limacus flavus, the yellow cellar slug. Of all the slugs I monitor, it has the most delicate markings and striking colouration. Always a joy to spot one!
C15-C16 St Thomas a Becket church at Pulham, #Dorset, England. The font is C12 indicating an earlier church. My 4x great-grandmother was baptized here in 1776. I wonder if the shafts were replaced in emergency situations! #fontsfriday #Genealogy #FamilyHistory
