Collecting nurdles yesterday. A little boy came & helped me. (He told me about a giant caterpillar that had put a sign up on the cliff). '25 tonnes of nurdles were spilt into the River Tyne & continue to wash up on beaches. They're mistaken for food by birds.' #environmentaldamage #nurdles #ukcoast

Some fantastic artwork on display at The Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair. Well worth a visit this weekend. Artist/Makers have been specially selected and have travelled to Newcastle from all over the UK.
Sad news about David Hockney. Two years ago, I had the honour of being on the same bill as David Hockney! Yep. At Gallagher & Turner with EllieClewlow. A couple of people at the preview asked if he was there - I told them he'd just popped out for a tab (imagine!) I'm a big fan of the early etchings.
