Bit embarrassing to be caught with fluff on you right when the whole world's watching.

The sun (unobscured) before the start of the partial eclipse. There are a couple of dark squiggles on it that looks like pieces of lint or fluff.

Another layer, an outline and a couple of minor tweaks, and I'm much happier with the look now. She is varnished and ready to accompany me for as long as the flimsy card she resides on lasts.

An updated version of Lieutenant Ortegas as a cactus from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds painted on a piece of card to go inside a clear phone case. The colours are bolder and less streaky and there's now a white outline to separate her from the black background better.

Got bored and made a Lieutenant Ortegas insert for my poor naked phone. 🌵

A thin piece of card cut out in the shape of a mobile phone to go inside the back of a clear phone case. It shows Lieutenant Ortegas in the form of a cactus with burgundy Star Fleet uniform on, as per Sock's hallucination in the latest episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

The election results from my ward. The particularly depressing thing about this is that Reform came 2nd despite the candidate having done absolutely nothing to garner votes. No info online, other than their name, not even a photo. Thankfully the rest of the city seems to have done better. 💚

We've had significant action, just not much downwards progress. Soon though. Soon.

Phase 3: try to glue the non-adhesive wall hole patches to the ceiling and hope for the best.

It's been 3 years and 9 months since knobhead cat put his foot through the bathroom floor / living room ceiling. I've grown quite fond of the hole over the years, but I have decided the time has come to repair it.

I don't want to toot my own horn, but I'm fairly confident I know what the first letter is. I can only assume the remainder are exclamation marks or something.

Spent a year (on and off) crocheting a blanket for my sister, completely ruined it at the last minute. Had a meltdown. Had a sleep. Starting again. YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME, YOU YARN-BASED BASTARD!

This popped up from a few years back and I still can't work out how they messed up water so badly.

The trauma didn't stop there. I am a monster though, so ate it regardless.

Two pieces of buttered toast with a poached egg on each one. The yolks are slightly off-centre so look like deranged eyes. A horrified face has been drawn over the top to complete the scene.

Breakfast disaster. The end of my egg FELL OFF and ended up outside of the clearly marked Poaching Zone. Absolute bugger to pick up so, genius idea, make it solid! The cooked egg has now molecularly fused with the stovetop. To anyone with half a brain, this was inevitable, yet here we are.

The egg poaching cup has been removed but the hob has been turned on. It glows red under the (currently) clear egg albumin.

Success! The egg has cooked! Steam rises off it'a now white mass majestically. But wait... Some idiot forgot that the heat won't magically stop now. It's cooking too much. IT'S BURNING. NOOOOOOOOO!!!

It was my MIL's 70th birthday recently and one of her grandniblings received the honour of making their card. I ADORE the fact that almost every single element of the design could be a symbol for impending death. Setting sun Burial at sea Dark clouds gathering Circling vultures HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! 😀

A reminder popped up from 2020 when Knobhead Cat was just a baby. The feistiness was already evident. 🖤
