cookies are out! really tasty. Next time, I may put a bit less cayenne in; I wanted it more in the background. BUT I put a lime glaze on some (not shown in this pic), & the sweet-tart of it balanced the spice beautifully! so, will keep that in mind in the future.

Needed some relief so watched the US Olympic figure skating team announcement and crocheted a wee Mardi Gras gnome. (The hat is purple, i promise. My phone camera can't see true color for shit.)

Felt like trying something wild this afternoon, so I subbed yellow squash into my favorite zucchini bread recipe. The experiment was a success!

I put a box out on the sidewalk in front of my house last week with some in it, and when I checked yesterday all but 2 had been taken! :) it takes so little to motivate me. I just finished another batch. Weirdly proud of the grapes there. lol

Time for another little positive post! an instagram pal decided learning a new skill would be a good way to stay afloat in this madness, & I liked her idea, so I'm finally starting to try rock painting. I'm no artist, but this first batch was a lot of fun!
