Delia Derbyshire Day
@deliaderbyshireday

Did You Know...? Volunteer Jae says "Delia created electronic music before samplers, computers, synths and mixing desks were widely available." Like many making music at the time, Delia used inventiveness. Dick Mills, who worked with Delia says "necessity was the mother of invention." Amazing in it?
Today would have been #deliaderbyshire’s 89th birthday. We find Delia consistently inspires kids of all ages. 🎥 Belle Vue Productions, supported by @heritagefunduk.bsky.social, a short film about Delia available on our YouTube. #deliaderbyshireday #musiccharity #electronicmusic
