We got a lot of gaming news over the last month! Not all of it good (understatement), but the high points included reveals and recent releases with a bunch of interesting characters! Have to ask, as a Smash guy, which of them would you be open to seeing newcomer concepts for?

Smash 6 roster mockups are a trend on the other site. Might as well show the roster I made for a video a few months ago! This was a theoretical version of Smash 6 that came out at the end of this year (including tough decisions) + 4 years of DLC. I suppose you could call it an alternate timeline.

The results are in! And...we ended up with a tie at the end as well! But the tiebreaker this time went to the Hero of the Wilds, meaning his long wait is over. Look forward to seeing what a Tears of the Kingdom-based overhaul for Link could look like this summer.

My birthday's been pretty low key this year--wasn't expecting a whole lot given the circumstances. But I wanted to give myself a chance at getting my own present of sorts. Had enough hourglasses saved in PTCG Pocket to pull 10 Mega Rising Gyarados packs, and... ...Maybe I'm not completely cursed.
