Haven’t been able to get out birding much due to health issues but have been enjoying watching our tiny new build garden flourish. The wildlife is finding us, although the house martins chose to build nests on the neighbours house and not ours!
First target bird today ✅ cuckoo at emsworthy mire #devon birds

Bucket list trip to Lundy today. Another thing on my bucket list was to go in a helicopter, despite my fear of flying. Well it’s going to happen today. Boat can’t Sail due to wind direction! 😳
Today’s target bird was a pier flycatcher. We have heard it several times on a walk but yet to see it #dartmoor #devonbirds
First visit to Arlington House to see the bluebells. Took a long walk and surrounded by bird song the whole time, highlight 2GSW getting twittipated 🤣
Took part in my first bird survey today at RHS Rosemoor, a morning well spent!
