Before she assumed the bench, Judge April Perry served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago herself. So it matters that Judge Perry said that she was “incredibly shocked” after seeing the preumption of irregularity that was displayed in the grand jury transcripts in the Broadview Six case.
