Not a serious person, apparently. Profile picture from Kubbi album 'Taiga'
I don't blame politicians for taking a NIMBY approach on this topic, since people have strong, very real concerns about what happens if containment fails. That said, other countries (e.g., France) have managed safe reprocessing and storage for decades. It shouldn't be inconceivable to do so here.
The difference in gasoline and diesel prices alone, by at least one estimate, pushes the cost of the war well over that value. And that before accounting for any of the military costs. (Reworded for clarity) iranwarcost.watson.brown.edu
Seeing it as a lose/lose situation would require MAGA having any shame or morals that they haven't outsourced to their glorious leader.
Remember kids: Every country in blue or green is C O M M U N I S T ! LOOK HOW CLOSE COMMUNIST POLICIES ARE TO OUR NORTHERN BORDER! THE US IS PRACTICALLY UNDER SEIGE!!! (/s)
Obligatory post every time I see Alan Douchewitz mentioned after his hissy fit in Martha's Vineyard.
"I'm not looking to kill people. [But I will. Under me, commander in chief, my armed forced have murdered Iranian regime leaders, summarily executed fishing vessels, executed US citizens for protesting or fleeing, and they'll continue to do so. Because I like when people I don't like die.]"
Either wrong video link, or someone needs to look up what cross hatching means... see below for reference.
Like watching lightning bolts turn into wildfires. Worst among the unvaccinated, and kids and teens get the worst of it, all because of their parents' right of refusal on their behalf.
How to create high job numbers with data centers: 1. Build an AI data center (lots of local construction and engineering jobs!) 2. Repeat Step 1 an infinite number of times 3. Kangbashi, but with warehouses
We have the largest military spending budget on the fucking planet. Our spending eclipses the next six highest countries COMBINED. What nightmare scenarios keep these quivering stools awake every night, that a trillion dollars a year isn't enough to keep themselves safe?
We're glad to have you on the pro-humanity team. Exit polls showed Baby Boomers slightly favored Baby Hitler. The 88M who didn't vote are a major factor in why he won too, but even among non-voters, many of them later reported that if they had to, they WOULD HAVE voted for Trump or "other."
Only knew of its existence prior to this thanks to one trying to eat me in Dave the Diver. Very cool to see footage of a real one. They're fascinating!
I kept company with a lot of wealthy & famous people who turned out to be misogynists, rapists and sexual predators...
Older Dems hedge on older voters (50+), who historically turn up to vote far more reliably than younger voters and make up a large voting block. Even as of mid-2025, the older gen was roughly split on support Israel. It was a bad gamble on which side to alienate. news.gallup.com/poll/692948/...
Among non-voters, 48% leaned democratic vs 45% republican. Yet 44% of non-voters said they WOULD have voted for Trump, vs just 40% for Harris. So yes, there is evidence that a bunch of democrat-leaning voters knew the stakes from 2016, yet sat out over Harris. www.pewresearch.org/politics/202...

This goes against core fundamental conventions of Euro games. I'm not sure how I feel about this... (www.reddit.com/r/boardgames...)
Shoutout to those of us who prefer to get their useless query responses the old-fashioned way. At least this guy wasn't custom tailored to use misinformation to shelter a billionaire's myopic world view.
This seems much more timely and yet there's not a single piece of performative legislation aimed at stopping this shit. Surely that says nothing about their priorities, though...
Can't pick up momentum if you don't go down a big incline, right?? That keeps the dollar stronk! Feckless assholes.
Poland figured it out almost a decade ago. Too bad the lesson didn't make its way where it was needed most in 2025-2026...
