Sixers officially announce that they have hired Mike Gansey as their new president of basketball operations. Press conference will be Monday at 10 am.
Tyrese Maxey has been voted to the All-NBA Third Team. Maxey was the leading vote getter among those on the Third Team, receiving 36 Second Team votes and 60 Third Team votes, appearing on a total of 96 out of 100 ballots.

VJ Edgecombe: "Coming into next year a team won't ever leave me open." "In the regular season I was shooting the ball pretty well. Playoffs come it's a different vibe. Intensity, fire, closeouts are a lot quicker...I'm gonna work. That's all I'm gonna do, whatever I gotta do to get better."
Paul George was asked what he's focusing on this summer. "Figuring out if I can get that explosiveness back. It limited me a lot this year." "My entire career [was] the jump shot kinda being the jab...I just felt like that [explosiveness] wasn't there this year."
Joel Embiid has high hopes for VJ Edgecombe. "Philly got a good one in him. He's the guy. I'm telling you guys, that guy is something different."
Joel Embiid explains why he considers this season to be a success. "I thought I was done," Embiid said about his previous struggles with his knee. "I came in just hoping for the best, and I feel like we're in a position where we figured out the knee. It hasn't been an issue."
