After about 3 months and 300 hours, and I can confidently say that Final Fantasy XI is one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've had in YEARS. Been playing it with some friends from my FC in XIV, and we've done it almost entirely without Trusts. Immaculate Vibes. Highly recommended!
Was working on a shader the other day to implement Alex Charlton's "Hue-Lightness ordered dither", and results didn't come out how they should. I did, however, end up with these really interesting effects that I'm definitely gonna toy with more to make make them work with a more consistent style!
I'm terrible at this social media thing, but I've recently been working on a Dithering shader for ReShade that has a variety of different presets. It can apply a custom 2 color or 8 color palette, Black and White, a procedural mode that uses a selected hue and, my favorite, a 3Bit RGB mode!
Just uploaded the first proper version of my ReShade shaders, intended for FFXIV! Including both an Edge-detected outline shader, and a color-palette swapper. Link to the repo is below! Very exciting!!
Been leaning Graphics Programming and shaders in Godot for a few months for a course project, and I decided to convert one of my Screen-Space shaders into an HLSL shader for ReShade, and these are the results!
Thank you so much for 200 followers already! To Introduce myself, I'm Destrea, I'm a senior Computer Science student with a love of games. Recently I've started cooking up an FPS game in Godot, and while its not ready to show off yet, I have some fun ideas that I'm super excited to work on!
