There was a car/scooter accident on the waterfront Wednesday afternoon.
Something needs to be done about the broken bollards in Seattle's bike lanes. Earlier this summer I ran into one on the waterfront which was missing the pole and lost my balance and fell while riding a Lime scooter. I was ok and wearing a helmet at the time.
King County Metro’s E Line - Aurora Ave needs to run more frequently during night owl hours, IMO. A one-hour wait for a bus to downtown is crazy. You will get downtown faster on a Lime bike/scooter from far north Seattle (about a 45-50 minute ride).
The Blue Angels sky show in Seattle got canceled because of the weather when it’s a perfectly sunny day outside? No wonder people were leaving early. I heard there were 20-30 mph wind gusts. It didn’t seem to be too windy in the area, though.  📸: Sam Smith Park
There was a candlelight vigil at Seattle Center Monday evening to honor the victims of Sunday’s shooting at the Bite of Seattle.

This has to be the most desolate bike/pedestrian trail in Seattle. The portion of the I-90 trail that was completed a decade ago from 12th Ave S. to S. Holgate St. I never seen anyone riding or walking on this portion. It goes near an area once known as “The Jungle”.

The McDonald’s at 3rd & Pine in downtown Seattle, aka McStabby’s finally opened the inside of the restaurant to customers but you can’t dine inside. It is to go only. They still have the outside order/pickup window on the side.i
While visitors are praising Seattle on its handling of the World Cup so far, the local right-wing social media influencers are falling over each other to mention “open air drug markets,” “fentanyl/meth clouds,”, etc. for Fox News/Newsmax content in the less than 1% of the city that is in turmoil.

A certain demographic tends to ignore the crime going on in their own communities but instead are obsessed with crime that people of color commit.
