I've been free to work on my solo project. Comfy on my laptop, mostly my own code (lol ImGUI and SDL2). Full rebuild is 3.685s, run without debugger takes 0.2s and I can move. Pic irrelevant to what I worked on, but I haven't posted anything in a long time. #ScreenshotSaturday

My phone is 5+ years old. I’d want a new one for the battery but Apple only makes iPhones that are bigger in size than what I own now. 6 minutes of Safari is 15% battery life! Incredible numbers from Bluesky. Looking at more stats Bsky consumes consistently 50% less than browsing or retail apps.

Today I watched The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951). It still holds up incredibly well, beautifully shot, and genuinely entertaining. Highly recommend.

Having a coffee moment with my wife, put on some Mario gameplay on YouTube to keep our son busy. Suddenly Bowser appears, except Bowser is replaced with a giant Peach, with huge boobs, that jiggle when she jumps. 🙃🙃🙃

I used my PDF maker for the first time to actually send out an invoice. I can proudly claim that my new invoices are 95% smaller in size than prior invoices. Yes our computers are fast and bulky, but I still think it's nice if we can waste less resources.

Moving away from Windows on my main PC I needed a new tool to generate PDF invoices. Did I need to implement kerning and justify the text? No. Was it the best part of the project? Yes. Sometimes you need a poor excuse for a fun project.

I recently shared some stat that we're spending 30% CPU on finding the distance along a spline, what if we preprocess it into a LUT so we only check 5 line segments? Do I add redirection and reduce the LUT size merging cells, or allow hash collisions so that I have ~15 segments instead of ~5?
