Translucent plastic with glitter flecks makes my heart sing. A contained mess. she/her 🏳️⚧️ www.diaryofadorkette.blogspot.com
Poor Flattop. In the process of super gluing his legs. One down, another to go. That mob life sure is dangerous.
Sneak peek at some of what will be included in the Diary of a Dorkette giveaway! Plan to have full details sometime this weekend!
Finally treated myself to the Apple Slice and oh my goodness. This one is my favorite. It was so delicious. Absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a low calorie apple flavored soda.
As a little kid I would walk around with these empty bottles. They were my security blankets that were in a rotation for favorite. They’d travel with me to the grocery store, restaurants, you name it. They’re all on eBay and I am so tempted, but I have the pictures. And that is enough. It must be.
In my quest to find where I last put my Deanna Troi figures, I came across my Princess Pig from the Gorgeous Creatures line! I was wondering when our paths would cross again. She’s a mix of Mae West and Miss Piggy and I adore her. 1979 was quite a year for toy collecting, I tell you what.
For some reason I see this image of the Rilakkuma Nendoroid and just relate to it so much. I feel so seen.
Oh I love Moon Dreamers. The villain of the line is named Queen Scowlene and she came with a hair clip that was a bug. My office has spots of hair that glow in the dark from them when the lights are off.
My friends asked if I saw any fireworks or anything fun for the 4th. I did the important things. I honored Helen Shivers by watching SMG in Ready or Not 2. Took toy photos for the soap. And! Bit the heck out of my tongue while zestfully chewing a piece of sour gum. I also built this Lego knockoff.
#VintageToyTuesday Tiny Teeny Collection. I had these as a kid, but forgot the name of them & always wondered what they were but was too lazy to investigate. I saw this set recently & was like, that’s them! They came out around the time of CUTIE so we totally had some tiny toy options in the ‘80s.
#YoJoeJune ends w/ a change of events! Faking a sprained ankle from the Danceathon of Death, Snake Eyes & the rest of the Joes battle for victory against the forces of Cobra. Looks like this time, GI Joe wins! Thank you @serpymatt.bsky.social for creating a list of prompts for us to have fun with!
As you dance to save your friend’s life, you notice loose pearls set across the floor. You lose your balance and twist your ankle before falling to the ground in defeat. The last thing you see are your enemies looking down at you. “Haha. Cobra wins!” #YoJoeJune The End(?)
Pythona: If you want to save your friend, you’ll have to dance. Or die! Can Snake Eyes bust out dance moves of the Robot, Mashed Potato, and Macarena to save the Joes? Or will Cobra win? The Dance-athon of Death continues on a new #YoJoeJune
Scarlett and Snake Eyes take the battle to space to save their friend Duke from the clutches of Cobra. But is this a trap so that Cobra Commander can start a war amongst the stars? And how is Scarlett able to breathe? Find out in the next installment of #YoJoeJune
Found the new KPop Demon Hunters For the Fans mystery figures while out grocery shopping and am so thrilled. Did not expect to get a sparkly Derpy Tiger but it’s made my day.
#YoJoeJune pays tribute to the ‘00s with those classic soapy Soap Opera Digest covers!
It’s Friday. All I wanna do tonight is eat pizza off these plates and play video games. Watch a cheesy movie. And take toy photos. That’s it.
Scarlett and Snake Eyes rush to save Duke from being Cobra’s dinner, but find themselves in a strange new land! “Snake Eyes, where are we?” Snake Eyes shrugs. “Oh. My. God. We’re in the ‘90s.” #YoJoeJune
I completely crashed shortly after work last night, so today is a double #YoJoeJune starting with the ‘80s. I love what Super7 did with this Scarlett. Perfect representation of the cartoon, which I have been rewatching on the GI Joe live YouTube channel this month.
It’s Cobra Chainsaw Massacre as Pythona invites Duke over for dinner; and he’s the main course! Will the Joe’s First Sergeant survive a night of horror? #YoJoeJune
I never knew about these, but like Charles, I have some Darlin Dinos. We truly live in a magical time. To have two different dinosaur doll lines… your post just made my night.
#YoJoeJune takes a nod towards anime today and this bike has always made me think of Akira. Side note, when this set came out it caused such a frenzy!
I’m about to do a live event for work on Channeling Rage into Action and I noticed this Terrifier head in the Zoom reflection and I’m like, it kinda works but I should probably move him.
Some of my favorite vehicles from GI Joe. I was a fan of the neon era. #YoJoeJune
Preview for the next All My Toys! M catches up with an old neighbor, but will Oscar the Grouch help her find an old bag of Pizzarias? Find out soon!
Sometimes the best firepower is from blades. Blade approves this message. I totally got my prompts confused for #YoJoeJune I feel like that girl in Drop Dead Gorgeous with the ball of twine on her head who didn’t understand the assignment.
It really helps to include the photo when creating a #YoJoeJune post. Now he’s ready to step out of the shadows and help his once sworn enemies! Storm Shadow! Ta-da! (Cue sparks and razzle dazzle!)
Team Cobra, gotta catch ‘em all! It’s a game homage for #YoJoeJune
I’m far from a soda reviewer, that fizzy distinction goes to @thesodajerk.net but I finally found some Slice soda! Not sure how I feel about them, (so far Pacific Pop is my fave) but I love their cans. I want a t-shirt in every flavor.
