was reading some drama on here and realized i could be making compote instead, so decided to do that

compote being prepped. cherries in various states on a cutting board w/ a pairing knife, pitted cherries in a stainless steel pot, pits and stems in a glass bowl. new ball jars waiting behind.

why does everyone always "but what about cultural relativism" queer rights? do ppl just... not actually believe in anything? look there are times when uve gotta examine cultural bias but u _have_ to actually believe in _something_, especially when it comes to human rights.

verdict: seasoning is good, breading needs a bit more salt, oil was too hot so it burned slightly. buldak white gravy slaps. corn chowder came out excellently. soda needs acid. will try to fry the other piece tomorrow. I'm a bit rusty on frying 😓
