Here is an unbelievably determined crow parent. With feathers in this condition they had to carefully plan each leap into the air. Still, they stayed focused on finding food, breaking it into nestling-sized pieces, soaking those in water, then making the difficult climb back up to their nest #birds

A hooded crow has just taken off from a walking path in the park. They are pumping their wings hard, but you can see huge gaps through their feathers. Nonetheless their throat pouch is full and they are determined to make it back to their children waiting in a nest nearby.
