I recommend not moving if you own 32 feet of records shout out to the Yacht or Nyacht podcast for keeping me company for the last couple hours getting these out of boxes!
someone else's pandemic project has become a benefit for me, someone who's often dissatisfied with store bought bread.
so my old roommate that moved out had lived there 22 years, and there's been like a dozen roommates over that time. now I'm moving out and emptying cabinets I've basically never seen the back of. I just found this can of pumpkin puree in one of the cabinets. 🔉 sound on!
yo this was such a fun time, and performing live was a great break from the move I'm packing for! I patch while I'm playing as a part of the set; here's the final state of things at the end.
Cincinnati friends, come see folks play ambient music on Saturday! feel free to bring gear and play a set yourself!
"Well, ladies and gentlemen, what if I were to tell you that Hedwig is like that wall?"

friendly reminder: when rendering stems with group/bus effects, be familiar enough with the way your app renders those effects. e.g., my drum group has a (deliberately) noisy effect on it. i didn't think much about this, so that noise is now on every individual stem from this drum group.
come join us in the fort! #dwarffortress twitch.tv/djempirical
I don't think I have much in the way of irl locals following me here, but just in case: my monthly ambient "open mic"-style hangout is this weekend, feel free to come hang/play!

some software gore I just noticed: I was searching Google maps for this Dunkin location's address, and the usually boring photos tagged with the location included a literal video of the aftermath of a serious-looking car accident.
what a game. this is a semi-banal shot and yet i love it.
i love how many times Steve Perry jumps into frame in the Separate Ways video
we're live! come join me in the fort. twitch.tv/djempirical
