Seconds really hits home because our government now is the most incompetent & callous we’ve ever seen. This whole album brings me back to when I was a kid & this same 💩 was all so new & hard to take. This album made me feel I wasn’t alone. Protest songs tend to do that. /4

It’s an album that spoke to how I was feeling during that time, coming of age at the tail end of the Cold War. Especially Sunday Bloody Sunday, Like a Song, & Seconds. War was the motif then, and it is now. /3

I originally had a copy of it in the late 80s on a tape that looked like this. A friend taped it for me off his LP. /2
