Just requested a death record matching my great-aunt's description. In 1920 she was 5 & at home; by 1930 she was in a state hospital. School records show her siblings all attended, but she never did. Heartbreaking to uncover the hidden reasons family members were sent away. 😞

We're assuming a stroke victim wouldn't be served this for breakfast at a hospital. I haven't been to see hubby yet, but here's hoping his 'dizzy spell' was just exhaustion and/or maybe an inner ear issue 🤞🤷
Woke up to a scary morning—Billy had sudden dizziness and went from Urgent Care to the ER. EKG and CT scan are clear so far, but they are keeping him overnight for an MRI tomorrow just to be safe. Keeping our fingers crossed. 🤞❤️

For those unaware, I've always had balance issues (due to ear problems). I was never able to ride a "normal bike". I was finally able to order this. Let's kick this weight loss journey into full gear and reclaim what the stress of the past few years has taken from us!

Someone whose spouse has this never truly gets a 'day off' from their duties. Some days it's like watching an accident in slow motion and there's nothing you can do to change things. We even had him participate in one of those sleep studies. Wish I could've paid for a positive diagnosis 😞

Two pretty great things happened at this time of year in the past. The first being my grandfather's birthday (tomorrow), and the second being this law that took effect when Mom turned 23. Also, in 2025 (after SIX MONTHS of being unemployed) I have a job offer on the table 🎉
This weekend marks Sixteen Years together with my hubby. We met after I returned to my home state. He was living in a nearby tiny town that my grandparents once did. Our first date lasted nine hours (in public!) By the end of that first we were already planning our second.
I had an (in person) interview 30 days ago. Then this happened a few days later. I felt passive aggressive today so I emailed them for a 'status update' 🤣
