Pulled the Criterion sale trigger on a trio of films with beautifully complicated places and relationships.
And there are pilgrimages to favorite local shops and restaurants hit annually, like Bookmans in Tucson, Phoenix, or Flagstaff, or the Range Cafe in Bernalillo. Or to Cadillac Ranch, which we’ve hit probably three times across 20 years.
There are bodies of water large (the Pacific, off Carlsbad State Beach) and small (the Animas River, flowing through Farmington). This time, it was Oak Creek in AZ.

Getting sentimental as we donate our 06 Sienna. Our everything-mobile for a solid 15 years, and then the kids’ gateway to the world as teen drivers for the next 4. Interior is in great shape, but 225k + miles on the engine, and needs mechanical and structural overhauls on everything else. 🙏
