I am passionate about my liberal views. I love music. “You have to get up and plant the seed and see if it grows, but you can’t just wait around. You’ve got to water it and take care of it.”…Bootsy Collins.
Was at my college reunion last weekend and was reminded when we were pledging we had to wear togas (which I had none of in my suitcase) and go see the premier of Animal House.
My reason to root for Norway is seeing my grandson’s happiness at the World Cup game at Foxboro getting to row with the other Norway fans in his Holland jersey.
Here in Orlando after 15 hours to see my granddaughter at a dance competition. The world is in chaos, still doing normal things.
A huge storm hit my elderly mom’s property in rural WV overnight. Many trees down blocking her driveway and the road. Neighbors are all out with chainsaws. It’s so wonderful because I’m 5 hours away and can’t get to her.
Saw my granddaughter perform yesterday in her dance recital. Starting feeling a little old. But I just posted a concert from my youth, saw Led Zeppelin 3 times. Props to my mom.
The memories that pop up just hit you. These boys are gonna be sophomores in high school next year. Damn.
Virginia Gold Cup today. I’m old, I’m a grandma. I hate the world I wake up to every morning. But I grew up in the 60’s. I have hope.
The world is falling apart, but if you’ve known your best friend for 50 years, would you drive 4 hours for her birthday dinner? Of course you would. 💖🎂☀️
Espresso martini while listening to a Led Zeppelin cover band, please and thank you.
My baby girl who graduated law school in December just found out she passed the NC Bar!!! Woohoo!!!!
Shrimp street tacos for Easter endorsed by the Easter Bunny. That’s me…I’m the Easter Bunny.
In Salt Lake City for some medical stuff with my grandson. We stopped by an illusion museum.
Road trip to pick up my peeps and go to Pickens, WV to the Maple Syrup Festival. Very nice distraction. No internet.
We definitely did it when I was a kid in the 60’s. It was every single weekend in Miami. I fear my generation remembers all, but it’s hard to see the passion now. My mom and my 5 year elbow behind her. 😎
For the first time in many years, I’ll be staying in on St. Patrick’s Day. These old bones can’t recover as fast as they used to. But…wearing my drinking socks so I can partake a bit.
Happy Caturday! Doc McFluffins on duty making sure no one leaves cat treats unattended.
