Had not seen this film since the 1980s, and, after seeing a post about it on social media and finding a copy, was able to dive back into this coming of age film set against the backdrop of 1965 Brooklyn Catholic Boys School. Worth the watch. Found a copy on UToobs.

The eye doctor said my right eye has a cataract like an 80 year old, but the upside is the cataract on my left eye is only like that of a 70 year old. In my mid-50s, this is not the good news one might think. Guess surgery is in the near future, but just like most things I cannot see it yet.
