we watched some Angine Pointrine videos a while back and kept hearing the phrase "chest enlargement" whenever they did their triangle pose. For some reason the speaker kept saying "chest enlargement". We finally realized it was some AI-voice that youtube dubbed over the original (French) video.

Some friends and I have been distributing whistles and zines in San Francisco to help neighbors protect each other when ICE is around. We have a few "assembly parties" coming up & we've shared all our files online. More details here: cryptpad.fr/doc/#/2/doc/...

Update: the images in my original post appear to be an AI upscaling of a still frame from a verified video. I’ve attached a screenshot below from a video that closely matches the viral images. The missing head & other artifacts are likely the result of the AI reinterpreting a blurry source image.

Beware of AI-generated images going around that claim to show Alex Pretti being executed by ICE agents. I'm attaching these images below with AI watermarks to keep them from being spread further. Alex Pretti's murder was well documented, we don't need AI-generated versions muddying the waters.

A photo claiming to show the execution of Alex Pretti, but appears to be fully AI generated. Alex is on his knees trying to get up, while three ice agents are nearby, one is pointing a handgun at Alex's head. That agent has his mask down, but has some weird black thing on his nose. He isn't wearing glasses. Another agent appears to have no head. This image is almost identical to the next image, except there are few subtle changes to the shooter's face between the two images.

A post on X from RealMezmo that says "The picture of ICE agents executing Alex Pretti shouldn't be forgotten." The attached photo appears to show an ICE agent pointing a handgun at Alex's head, while Alex is on the ground. The photo looks believable, but has a few inconsistencies worth noting. One of the ICE agents in the photo appears to have no head, and his shirt sleeves aren't consistently shaped. An ICE agent in the background appears to be holding an automatic rifle, but on closer inspection it looks like a mess of AI-generated metal, not a real rifle. It's also worth noting that none of the ICE agents in this photo are dressed like the agents in the verified videos.

More experiments with a Blade Pen. Frustrating, but still kind of fun.

Rather than straight lines, the ink spreads around like fractals or lightning bolts. Surprisingly, it’s still possible to tell what the image is, despite the ink bleeds.$

You can also see the ink jar and the copper Blade Pen in the photo. It is a very simple dipping pen with a round shape that comes to a sharp edge.

Saw a fantastic show at the Church Of Clown tonight & I wanted to recommend it. “Help Wanted” is a weird/whimsical clown show about migration and misfits, told in an utterly charming way. Hard to describe, but perfect for anyone looking for weird art in San Francisco www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticket...

A flier for Help Wanted, a play at the Church of Clown. The next show is on Sunday, January 11th at 8pm. The flier shows two black and white photos of the same person in different outfits. In one of the photos, she has balloons stuffed under her shirt sleeves to make her look strong and muscular.
