Not vicious, or malicious, just de-lovely, and delicious
I love how the BLOB/NOES3 guy, hired to give New Line a new horror franchise, convinced them *not* to do that. And instead do it more family-friendly and cartoonish. And hire his picks - a sketch comedy guy and a model - as the leads instead of stars. And he made it all work. RIP Chuck Russell.
I’m doing my part. 🗳️ Vote for the #ChainsawAwards! Last day to do it. Write in that Best Kill vote, you know you want to. fangoria.com/votenow/
Saw this ad and thought the Roxie stunt casting was just getting ridiculous now
They had to photoshop this guy so hard to make him look like temu Mark Hoppus
Happy first day of summer! Remember the local customs: • In the Northern Hemisphere, you have to visit Scandinavia for horror. 🇸🇪 • In the Southern Hemisphere, Scandinavia brings the horror direct to you. 🇦🇶
You can’t fool me, look when you put big “blue” in front of actual violet blue
English violets get pretty blue. Really what it comes down to is in Edmund Spenser’s era, “purple” was more used to describe reddish-purple or dark red (“regal purple” was actually crimson). So I can see why he’d lean more toward “blue” for the poem.
I know a lot of folks got sick of the Gay/Bi Babadook memes - understandably so, it got really annoying after a while - but I still love this drawing.
Watched HOPPERS. Delightful. Saw it was written by Jesse Andrews. “How do I know that name”, I thought. Turns out I met him years ago when we did a screening of ME & EARLY & THE DYING GIRL. He had announced there would be “Lemming” at the show so I bought two Stanislaw Lem books for this picture.
Not quite as bad as your restaurants with a pig chef serving pork, but this is a whole new level of food-based sordid body horror
“It was clear any reason they claimed for needing a ballroom was too easily dismissed. Our plan? Create a reason for needing a ballroom so dramatic and irrelevant that people were too flabbergasted to question it.”
There’s a fella on Taskmaster who looks ready to burst into “Dance Yourself Clean” at any moment
The pullquote read like a joke to me. In the interview he mention using AI to create weird images for a documentary, and that you have to be a literature PHD to tell it what to do - still not appealing, but I don’t think he’s looking at AI as a magic efficiency machine.
