Hunting for my personal preference for an ideal heart curve and found the so-called seventh heart curve.

The heart curve with its parametrized equations are shown. X is the square root of 2 multiplied by the cube of the sin of t. Y is minus the cube of the cosine of t minus the square of the cosine of 2, minus twice the cosine of t.

A generated series of expanding heart covering the partial spectrum from red to purple to blue. P5JS code follows.

Myles and Deimos. Deimos, on the right, is a seventeen-year-old partially-sighted diabetic cat who gets two insulin injections a day. I just installed motion sensor lights in the basement so he can find his way to the litter box. Reminds me of the hallway lighting in “Severence”. 😏

Absolutely loved the Retronym category in jeopardy, and I must confess, I had never encountered the term before.

Retronym: a new term created from an existing word in order to distinguish it from the meaning that has emerged through progress or technological development (e.g., cloth diaper is a retronym necessitated by the fact that diaper now more commonly refers to a disposable diaper).

Today, I discovered that, using SideCar, I can use an iPad with pencil as a graphics tablet input for a MacBook running Blender for Artists in sculpt mode. Abstract experiment.

Roma Bakery owner Anthony Di Filippo opens a box of the bakery’s famous bread pizza slab in the Stoney Creek shop. Messing around, relearning Ruby and using the Ruby2d library. Nothing fancy yet. Painfully slow rendering compared with javascript, though I love the simplicity of Ruby syntax.
