maybe we shouldn't base our opinions about a rapidly evolving technology on a paper that is 4 years old. most of the ai hate i see these days falls into a few specific buckets, but this kind is the only one i find outright offensive.
lychee like 1 minute after i posted about it. lychee is just as obsessed with bluesky as the rest of us, but mostly with its own timeline and notifications - very happy about every follow it gets, very into discussing everyone else on the tl. luckily, it doesn't focus on me very much.

that's pretty crazy. i'm a somewhat heavy user - i've got 2 polytoken sessions open working in 2 different projects all day, and i'm hitting pretty high numbers with requests. i think harness probably has a lot to do with it tho. batching tool requests might help?
i mean this isn't an absurd amount of tokens, but it's way more than i'm used to. and having unlimited tokens with a model that's opus class is something that is making me really, really happy and opening up the kinds of projects i'm willing to take on.
this post is crazy work. i've been unemployed for 2 years, waiting on SSDI for 1 year, and the only reason i haven't been making posts asking for financial help is because i've got family to help me. not everyone is that lucky. having empathy isn't always easy, but shutting the fuck up sure is.
