At last night’s School Committee meeting we held our annual celebration of retiring educators. This year’s event honored 16 retirees who brought a combined 317 years of service and dedication to #SalemMA students. We wish them all nothing but the best in their well-earned retirements!

After a number of years’ delay, closing on the City’s former Senior Center building at 5 Broad St is complete! The new owners will soon begin a project to rehabilitate the structure, creating new homes for #SalemMA & bringing in new revenues from both the sale & the growth in our property tax base.
