Really confused why Marvel Rivals players complain that there's too much XMen representation because it's among Marvel's most popular series & was only a team lobby size at launch. They have been in updates consistently but even then less than ⅓ of update characters are XMen. 😭

Now starting Valkyria Chronicles 4. Skipping 2+3 since Sega refuses to port them to modern consoles and I am not emulating a series where some missions take an hour to beat lol but for realsies looking forward to this since I loved 1.

If you think about it Persona 5 Strikers is a sequel crossover spin-off of the fifth sequel in a spin-off subseries of a spin-off of a game adaption of a book.

Happy 17th anniversary to the game that got me into Dragon Quest & helped spark my love for the RPG genre even further! I love Dragon Quest 9 so much & hold out hope for a remake. It is the only mainline game to never get a rerelease of any kind. Maybe 20th anniversary? 🥺

I appreciate that Scarlet Witch actually looks Romani (for most skins) in Marvel Rivals since the MCU butchered that part of her hard. Her MCU skin in game stands out from all the others so much it's crazy.

I am so glad Jubilee is a strategist because the only strategist I have not reached Lord on yet is Adam and I really do not want to grind Adam lol.

The way Toby Fox went from making the homophobic Dr Andonuts Earthbound rom hack to making one of the lesbian games of all time is kinda crazy ICL.

The tier list maker I'm putting together is so close to 1,000 characters. I thought it wouldn't happen until DQ12 but the new DQ10 expansion, Smash Grow updates, Avan manga, and playing through a game without a fan translation has introduced quite a few more characters to me lol.

I like that DQ Smash Grow uses the campfire from the start of DQ6 for the crossover event hub.

Dragon Quest character of the day #139: Woeful Warrior from DQ1 HD2D! She is in the party of yesterday's CotD. While exploring Erdrick's Hollow she fails to defeat a Slime that was asleep the whole fight. She successfully helps defend Galenholm later.

Dragon Quest character of the day #138: Would-Be-Hero from DQ1 HD2D! He is the leader of four characters met within Erdrick's Hollow in the latest remake. Upon finding out the tomb is merely words of encouragement, his group is disappointed. He is later seen defending Galenholm.

Dragon Quest character of the day #137: Dhuran the final Dread Fiend & lord of Stormsgate Citadel from DQ6! An Uberkilling Machine, an Iron Tortoise, & Terry serve as his main henchmen. He heals the party before fighting them. Dhuran is also an antagonist in DQM Terry Wonderland.

Dragon Quest character of the day #136: Kyururu the alien from Kyuropia from DQ10! He is unleashed from the Time-Trotter's Trinket at the start of Version 4 & assists in the time travel related adventure of that expansion. He appears occasionally in later expansions too.
