Having just moved back after cottage being tenanted for 8yrs, I’d forgotten what was here-thought these were marigolds so left them! Glad I did and now they’re everywhere! 👍🏻☺️

All my grandparents were Victorians-left is my maternal nanna who was a nanny with 1 of her charges. Right is my paternal granny who amongst other things was a bookies runner, housekeeper to a Dr and Chico Marx’s London mistress!
I’m told the ones that colour are particularly mad! Younger one covered in cleavers 🤦♀️
I have 2 of them, the 5yo is often mistaken for a puppy! Both black, they want to be in the sun with me-takes me an age to get them to sit in the shade! I walk them very early so they can run about before it gets too warm & when it’s too hot they go in their crates with frozen yog on a licky mat!
He’s 9.5yo and like a lot of his breed has never outgrown puppyness! Had him shaved for the summer and it took years off him-doubt very much it would do the same for me!
Spaniels! Swift with his tiger and Logan with his pig ☺️butter wouldn’t melt! My life revolves around them 🤦♀️☺️

I go out at 06.30 as I have to walk my 2 separately, nice & cool & this is the route back 👍🏻☺️council owned wetland nature reserve

Field behind sons house, I walk dogs here every morning 😊I say ‘walk’ they’re scent hounds so I stand around directing them whilst they quarter the field tracking last nights Muntjac! 30mins working their noses and they sleep for 2 hours 👍🏻😂
Clearing out the sons books atm 😬😳🤦♀️found 4 of mine so far! I got him a new bookcase-should’ve got 3!
