I remember reading his fantastic book 'Ivory: Power & Poaching in Africa'. It was so good that when I was in London for a meeting I arrived early & spent 1.5hrs reading it on the Circle Line until I had to get to the meeting.
Keith Somerville, a very much valued member of @dice-kent.bsky.social, passed away last Thursday. He was a former BBC journalist, editor of Anti-Apartheid News & expert on Africa, inc politics of African conservation. A luta continua.
