Fucking superb from Godsticks so far. Massive meaty riffs, solos , sexy double kick drums.. Absolute top notch prog metal. Tracks from the new album Void sound huge. No you probably won’t like them.

Still buzzing. They weren’t going to play, LOE were but then they changed it ! LOE definitely my favourite new discovery. Instrumental post rock. Lovely guys too !
Not that anyone remotely cares but Nordic Giants came by and played unmasked in my shop yesterday. This absolutely made my year. And then later they performed the gig of the year so far at the Joiners, along with the incredible support Last of Eden. A fantastic day.

Fancy something new ? Nightbus - Passenger. Give this a go. Throw in some early Cure as well and you are there sound wise. Very very good. Sold a few of these in the shop just by playing it in store.

Pure Reason Revolution last night. Superb. The Dark Third is one of my favourite ever albums and to see it performed in its entirety again was very special. Last time was 2011. Second set was also excellent. Good to catch up with @stuartintrosley.bsky.social too !
