can you tell I love art deco? I made this mere days after I watched a manami toyota match for the first time. she’s just too cool. I plan to digitalize this, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

HAPPY GRAND PRINCESS ‘26 DAY!! feast yours eyes upon this art that I was fortunate enough to gift to arisu endo in person 🥹 she loved it and that made me so so so happy. arisu is the best.

turned 22. can’t remember if it was 2026 or 1926 though… these pictures turned out so amazing. I want to show more. so, perhaps this is just part 1??

maggie (they/them, aka me!) stands on a set of concrete stairs, right elbow perched upon a ledge of an old school. their right hand comes to rest near their face, their left hand on their waist. they are pale and have their makeup done — eyeshadow in gray tones and subtle 1920s inspired lips and blush. they look off into the distance on their right. their purple hair comes to mid-neck length, with layers and bangs. the left side of their head has a section of black raccoon stripes in the hair; the underside of their hair is longer than the rest, also dyed black, and is put into two braids. one layer of their hair is curled to frame their cheeks, and their bangs are styled in a similar way, instead resting on their forehead. their outfit is a navy blue, vintage inspired sailor-like outfit. the neckline comes to a ‘V’ and the collar has sharp points. the pants are very wide-legged. the sleeves are long, but rolled up to 3/4 length. the collar, bottom of the shirt, and bottom of pant legs are lined with white rickrack — rickrack is a wavy patterned ribbon-like decoration you can sew onto garments. their wrists are covered in bracelets. they wear shiny black mary jane’s with purple socks underneath.

maggie again — instead, this time it’s a closer shot. it’s from the same photoshoot, so it’s the same hair and same outfit. they sit against some bricks, looking into the distance. in their hands is a 1920s or 1930s camera. a “protect trans kids” button can be partially seen pinned to their shirt. the rings on their fingers can be better seen now.

maggie sits on the stairs, feet on the step below, and knees up. their elbows rest on their legs, hands framing the underside of their chin and face as they look into the camera. this pose is less serious than the first two, and more cutesy.

similar to the second photo, but a further away shot. maggie can be seen sitting on a ledge, legs out and back to the bricks of a platform that houses a giant column. one leg is bent a little. they have the camera in their hands again, and glance at it. it looks more candid than the rest of the pictures.
