It could've been worse. Definitely glad I set up a 1,000L tank last year to catch the rain and could easily just hook it up again after the winter. Helped to keep some new planted trees alive over the driest part. Picture to show there is life 😅

Last night I was introduced to Café Gourmand at an Italian restaurant in Paris, and I think it should be mandatory for every restaurant everywhere to offer. It's so helpful for a dessert lover, because you don't have to just pick one dessert you want!

Last night a calf was born right when we were eating dinner, and today we helped rescue another newborn calf who ran onto the neighbour's property. I'm basically a farmer now 🐮 (Photo hidden in case you don't want to see a calf coming out of a cow)

After all the incessant running posts from many of you, particularly @andyukb.bsky.social & @chazzersmurf.bsky.social it's finally rubbed off on me. Took advantage of 🌞 despite the -1⁰c & ran for the first time in months! Just a quick under 4km and managed it in 20mins. Now to keep it up 😅
