Wondered if my new phone might do me some better astro photos. It does indeed! Default settings other than zoomed in to max. Hand held. No tweaking of settings etc. Barely got more than a white disk before. Excellent stuff.
I redid it on a big computer monitor. Not as good. I should now definitely make a TV docu-show about how smartphones are good for you and improve your eyesight.

They were not "terrible" for complaining. They were terrible because of how they did it and how they treated the other person involved.
Lovely clear evening yesterday w/ a full moon. Pushing my elderly smartphone to the limits and a lot of manual adjustments to camera settings, but not a bad result for a quick handheld session. Enjoyed getting this and then being outside with binoculars for general stargazing with my little girl. 🙂
