This all reminds me of a touching moment from the @deathbydyingpod.bsky.social (So sorry about the lack of alt text. I will put it in when I get to a computer that makes it easier.)
This is exactly where my worldbuilding thoughts tend to lead until I rein them in.
Name a TV show you're positive no one remembers but you. Strange Paradise: Canada's discount Dark Shadows show from 1969-70
He was a man of specific interests, like many on that side of the family, but certainly unusual for the vicar of a small village.
I have books, tea, and a free weekend. Whatever shall I do?
There are many things I like about @soulframe.com, but it's the simpler ones that won me over, like customizing your character at the start through memories of your mother, who is then described poetically by a narrator. But every time I log in, there's a bonus:
This #Caturday, Cordelia uses her cat tree for the first time. She is not impressed.
This also applies very well to game design.
Cordelia shares your anxiety and would like things to change. Just in general.
The longer I stay on the family property, the more I'm reminded of the most important lesson of childhood: "Don't go into the parts of the wood the sun doesn't reach." I'm heading toward sixty years old and there are still places there I know I've never stepped.
Cordelia welcomes Spring by retreating into my duvet, somehow finding a gap between its cover casing and its interior. I admire the creativity and envy the location, given the freezing rain outside.
The sun has barely risen and Cordelia already objects to the day.
Welcome, Nico. Cordelia would get up to greet you, but it's a Sunday afternoon and she's terribly comfortable.
I was so very disappointed when I found out what I found this story was actually about. Necromancers *never* get their own team. There's nothing in the rulebook that says skeletons can't be racers!
I am beginning to think my phone company doesn't actually want to be helpful.
It's always nice to see artwork for something I wrote, so I can say, "Oh, I know those guys!"
My word cloud for the past year (via anisota.net) is... terrifically dull. When two of your top choices involve Canada, something is wrong.
"Nobody expects the Chicago Inquisition!"
Precarity goes with poverty: my monthly disability benefit is delayed, so now I have to go through an indefinite period of time with no money and a cat who hasn't had food in two days. A little support would be wonderful. paypal.me/DrGeoffreyM
Always my favourite. (I really must hang that sometime.)
