Never ceases to amaze me how the @nytimes.com doesn't interrogate the anti-Semitism its contributors flirt with. I don't know how to read this other than Ross Douthat spreading anti-Semitic conspiracies against liberal arts programs.

Douthat agreeing with T. Greer that Great Works programs are sometimes, if not un-American, not always useful for Americans

T. Greer saying that Great Works programs were made by "secular Jews," agreeing with this Kerwin Fjol guy that the concept's major early advocate was a "cosmopolitan and liberal." Basically every anti-Semitic dog-whistle there is.
