The interview paints the DHS as the natural successor of WFS but I have always considered this to be an instance of twins seperated at birth. Half of the WFS community went on to be financed by USAID and become the DHS.
Every year at this time we make the long migration to 🇨🇿 for 🎄. We don’t fly so it normally takes 14 hours or more with two kids. However the @europeansleeper.eu gods have smiled on us and we can now get a direct sleeper train from The Hague to Prague!! This should be normal

Just returned from two awesome weeks in Japan. ChatGPT was incredibly useful as a tour guide and schedule planner. We didn’t always follow it but it’s amazing for providing a structure to work with, especially if you give it constraints (like keep my kids happy).
Above all though, its a fun two weeks were you get to collaborate with a diverse range of excellent young scholars. Its also a great way to become part of the wider ODISSEI community. Its a great network and my favourite part of ODISSEI is watching the alumni help develop that community.
