My son played travel ball for years, and eventually US College for one. Other than the the time we spent together my favorite part was visiting ballparks that felt stitched into the local neighborhood. Fifth Third Field in Toledo is one of the best. It felt like it was part of the community.
For all the jokes about Detroit, the skyline behind the outfield at Comerica Park is kind of awesome. What a view for a ballgame.
