Do you really don’t know? (I’m a philosopher and historian of biology, interested in all things evolutionary, #genetic, or #cognitive. I find most things ridiculous.)
I only recently learned that there’s actually a term for the improvised paths created by walkers taking shortcuts across lawns and such. They are called desire paths (!). In my talk tomorrow at the Israeli philosophy meeting I will use them to illustrate how #norms and social #resistance interact.
I think the original cover designed by my dad was better than the new one designed by professionals, but what do I know.
Revised edition with a new introduction by the editor of my dad’s groundbreaking book on the philosophy of #education, first published in 1972 and bestseller in Israeli teacher colleges for decades! archive.org/details/conf...

Looking forward to this workshop since it seems to me that everything philosophers of science do is somehow related to various kinds of biases.
Great essay. But this key point is underdeveloped. Us neurotics have a superpower: sycophancy makes us nervous, the more someone wants to be our friends the more anxious and self aware that we become. AI got nothing on us. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
My little essay of anti-gene metaphors may be of interest ;) ehudlamm.com/goldschmit_m...
I should perhaps emphasize that my point this time was about being juvenile not about economic.
Indeed. Hence my advice was always to start by recognizing these facts. medium.com/@ehud.lamm/h...
